First time?  Please register on our website, or give us a call.  We'll contact you to chat about which programs may best suit your recovery goals.  

Please note that our schedule is subject to change. We're always closed for August and for about two weeks during the December holidays. 

TUESDAYS

 

 

@ St. David’s Anglican Church Hall,  1115 51A St, Tsawwassen 

10:30 AM – Room 1 – Group Speech Language Pathology 

10:30 AM – Room 2 – Conversation group

10:30 AM – Room 3 – Activities for cognition (brain games)

11:30 AM – Room 1 – Chair fitness (all abilities) 

12:30 PM – Room 1 – Bring your own lunch / social time

1:15 PM – Wrap up

On the last Tuesday every month, we offer Therapeutic Music, a Caregiver Support Group, and a Soup & Sandwich lunch (no charge, donations welcome).

WEDNESDAYS

10:30 AM – Cognitive Activities (brain games - all abilities)

11:30 AM – Fitness for Strength & Balance (all abilities)

12:15 PM – Wrap up

@KinVillage Community Centre,  5410  10 Ave, Tsawwassen

1:00 PM – 2:00 PM – FAME

  • *FAME is an intensive 8-week twice-weekly class offered on a semester basis.  FAME addresses strength, balance, and mobility after stroke.  Please ask about cost, assessment, and registration through our Program Coordinator.

THURSDAYS  

@ Online - Zoom

10:30 AM – 11:30 AM – Aphasia peer communication group

FRIDAYS

@KinVillage Community Centre,  5410  10 Ave, Tsawwassen

1:00 PM – 2:00 PM – FAME

  • *FAME is an intensive 8-week twice-weekly class offered on a semester basis.  FAME addresses strength, balance, and mobility after stroke.  Please ask about cost, assessment, and registration through our Program Coordinator.

Speech-Language 

We offer programs for stroke survivors with aphasia and apraxia, This includes Speech Language Pathology for those with acute needs. and conversation groups.

Cognitive Activities

We offer weekly brain games and learning opportunities to help increase cognitive activity for stroke survivors.

Fitness & Mobility

Keeping an active lifestyle after stroke has mobility and emotional benefits, as well as help prevent secondary strokes.  Classes are led by certified fitness instructors.

Whether you're a stroke survivor, caregiver, family member or friend, we know how important it is to have a community.  Check out our Delta and provincial resources.
