Physical Fitness Therapy

At the Delta Stroke Recovery Society, we understand that maintaining an active lifestyle is pivotal for both stroke recovery and prevention.

 

Our fitness programs, led by certified instructors, are thoughtfully designed to engage and challenge you to accommodate varying levels of mobility and fitness at your own pace.

Strength & Balance

Our weekly strength and balance class is designed for stroke survivors of all abilities. Whether seated or standing, stroke survivours use balls, bands, and weights to improve muscle strength, balance, and mobility.  Exercises are modified to fit each person's capability.

Chair Fitness

Our Chair Fitness Sessions offer a unique combination of cardio, strength & balance exercises, and games designed to improve coordination, build strength, and enhance overall fitness.
